Porsche North America opened its HQ adjacent to where I work a few months ago. I’ve been desperate to visit them for a while and it didn’tdisappoint. A group of from work had lunch at their lively and lovely 356 restaraunt. It was damn good too. Food was great, service was great and the view of the test tracks and the runways of Atlanta airport were fantastic. After lunch we looked around. There are Porsches all over inside the building. New ones and old. The Heritage Center has some lovely classics and some contemporary race cars. We also eyeballed the shop and it’s perfect, green, 911. Much want there.

Very cool bit of art hanging from the ceiling. You have to find the special spot to stand.

There are only a few ways that they let you in:

1) work there

2) have a reservation to the restaraunt

3) have a car in for work

4) doing one of the driving experiences

5) specing out a new car

6) taking a delivery of a new car

It's not a bad city. Plenty to do, nice folks and reasonable weather.
